After an agonizing four month wait at Seattle Children's Hospital, the McDonald family finally got the call they had been waiting for. Little Mia Marie received her new heart on November 9th, 2008. She's doing great. Click here to read more about Mia's story. Congrats to Mimi and John! Thoughts of thanks and healing go out to the selfless family who gave Mia a chance at life. |
